On March 10, 2025, the Tibetan Community of Switzerland & Liechtenstein held a protest march in Zurich, Switzerland, to commemorate Tibetan Uprising Day.

Participating organizations included the Tibetan Community of Switzerland & Liechtenstein (TCSL), the Swiss-Tibetan Friendship Society (Die Gesellschaft Schweizerisch-Tibetische Freundschaft, GSTF), representatives of the Central Tibetan Administration, Christians from The Church of Almighty God (CAG), and Christians from other house churches.

At 10 a.m. local time, CAG Christian Shi Qingxia spoke at the rally in Zurich’s Werdmühle Square (Werdmühleplatz).

She stated that The Church of Almighty God has been subjected to the CCP’s brutal repression and persecution since its establishment, with at least 293 killed as a result. According to incomplete statistics, nearly 480,000 CAG members have been arrested since 2011. In October 2024, two CAG Christians in Jilin, China, were persecuted to death within just four days—one of them was barely recognizable due to severe facial bruising, clearly having been beaten to death, although the CCP claimed she had died of a heart attack.

The march began at 11 a.m. local time. Participants walked from Werdmühle Square (Werdmühleplatz) to the Chinese Consulate in Zurich, holding banners and signs. Christians chanted slogans such as “Stop Persecution!” “Respect Life!” and “Faith Is No Crime!” The march caught the attention of passersby.

Around 11:30 a.m., marchers arrived at the Chinese Consulate in Zurich as a light rain began to fall. Facing the consulate, they chanted slogans, condemning the CCP’s human rights abuses and religious persecution, demanding an end to the CCP’s persecution of its people. In the drizzle, 72 photos of CAG Christians who had died from persecution stood out, silently accusing the CCP of its brutal killings of Christians. The protest lasted for over an hour, with participants’ voices rising and echoing through the area.
